Smørrebrød and lunch at På Torvet
At På Torvet we serve lunch based on Danish smørrebrød – the traditional open-faced rye bread lunch – presented in both classic and more contemporary interpretations. Our kitchen works with high-quality ingredients and a simple approach, where flavour and quality are always in focus. Learn more about our café.
The selection is intentionally kept concise and may vary throughout the season. Smørrebrød will remain a part of our lunch offering, while the menu is adjusted continuously to reflect ingredients, seasonality and the way we choose to run the place.
We aim to offer something for different needs, including options suitable for children, as well as vegetarian and fish-based choices.
The current selection is presented in the restaurant on the day.
We generally operate without table reservations.
